We all know that feeling connected to someone, and sharing our experiences with another, can make all the difference in how a person feels. The iGrow program aims to match volunteers with people to provide support as a companion gardener. This program builds on international research which identifies gardening, and connection with other people, as prime indicators of improved and maintained physical and mental health, particularly in an aging population.
